What happens now?

Now that you’ve booked your dream day with West Tower, we’ll allocate you your own dedicated Wedding Co-Ordinator, either Maria or Sarah, who will contact you to say ‘hello’ and start the exciting journey towards your Wedding Day!

Your Co-Ordinator will be your direct contact, from your first day to your big day, on hand to answer questions and offer advice. She will send you your very own West Tower folder full of helpful documents, ideas and plans so you can keep everything in the one place. We’ll then leave you to plan at your own pace, reminding you of anything we need along the way.

Can we come along to the Open Evenings?

If you want to come back for another look around outside of these events, please contact your Co-Ordinator to make an appointment!

When will my Menu Tasting be?

Typically, we expect that your tasting will be approximately 6 months before your day; we only arrange menu tasting events a few times a year, hosting them around our busy calendar of weddings so it’s hard to say exactly when, until closer to the time! If you have booked a classic package we will contact you when it’s time to invite you in!

Can I bring my family and friends to the Menu Tasting?

You’re more than welcome to bring up to 4 guests along with you, meaning you have the chance to try 6 starters, 6 mains and 6 desserts! Whilst the Menu Tasting is included with our compliments for the Bridal Couple, additional guests are charged at £47.50

Who sets everything up for Our Wedding?

Whoever you have providing your flowers or venue dressing will come to us the morning of your wedding to begin setting up! We’re happy to lay our your place cards, favours and guest welcome table items for you!

If you’re planning on providing your own décor, then this can be brought to us in advance with set up instruction, and our team will take care of things on your day!

When do we drop off our things to West Tower?

We invite you in for your final meeting, a day or two before your big day. This is when you will meet the Events Manager that will be running your day, go over everything in detail one last time and drop off all your wedding items to us!

Bring along your table plan, wedding favours, place cards and we’ll spend time going through what you’ve brought, and where you’d like it setting up on your day!

What if our numbers change after booking?

Not a problem at all! We appreciate plans change. Your contract will always be based on minimum expected numbers, giving you lots of flexibility to add to your package closer to the day itself! We only ask you to confirm your guest numbers at your final planning meeting 6 weeks before your big day.

Who packs everything away at the end of the night?

Our fabulous nights team will move all your décor, gifts, and personal belongings into the Leather Lounge for easy collection the next morning. Any suppliers are asked to come and collect their own items before 11am, too!

Will you remind us of what to do when?

Of course, we will; your own Wedding Co-Ordinator we be in touch with you along with way to catch up, see how plans are progressing and offer support. We’ll let you know when any payments are due and schedule your planning meetings.

Who will be our Master of Ceremonies on the day?

Our fabulous Events Managers are here to act as Master of Ceremonies on your day. They will be here to greet you on arrival right through until your evening celebrations are in full swing. Along with the rest of our dedicated team they will expertly look after you and all your guests!

How do guests book bedrooms?

As our house is yours for the day, you can choose who stays, and in which room! We’ll send you a bedroom allocation list to complete and return to your Co-Ordinator. Once we have this your guests are welcome to call or book online, confirm and pay for their bedrooms. We ask guests to pre-pay their rooms, no later than 8 weeks in advance!
