Steph and Mark’s Fun-Filled Wedding

Steph and Mark were excited about so many elements of their upcoming wedding. They couldn’t wait to celebrate with family and friends, spend quality time with all their guests and were looking forward to their first dance too.

Of course, after researching places to get married, discovering West Tower civil wedding venue helped make the couple’s dream a reality – providing the perfect setting for all their big day wishes and plans.

“We loved everything about West Tower – from the amazing location and the surroundings to the stunning interior. It was perfect.”

The style of the day

Steph and Mark mixed a chic peach, orange and cream colour scheme with a touch of vintage, for a pretty, spring-inspired celebration. Wedding tables at the exclusive wedding venue were kept simple with tall, natural flower arrangements and candles, teamed with crisp white tablecloths. The pair’s wedding cake was simple yet spectacular too. The three-tiered royal iced cake featured delicate details and the words ‘live, laugh, love’.

Keen to stick to tradition, Steph and Mark dressed in classic attire for their wedding day. Steph wore an ivory A-line strapless gown, with sparkly jewel embellishment, and Mark wore a dark grey three-piece suit teamed with an ivory cravat. Steph’s two bridesmaids were dressed in modern silver-grey – the perfect complement to the spring, peach-orange colour scheme. Their dresses also featured lace detail – complementing the vintage undertones of the day.

The wedding

After months of planning and excitement, Steph and Mark were finally able to tie the knot. Steph set the tone for the day, arriving at the civil wedding venue in an eight-seater Asquith Mascot Carriage – the perfect choice for her chic, vintage-inspired wedding.

The couple opted for a civil ceremony, saying “I do”, before going on to enjoy a party of a lifetime in our Ballroom wedding reception venue. The pair’s party began with a delicious wedding breakfast, featuring a main of chicken and parsnips and a dessert of chocolate fudge cake.

Once the speeches and formalities were over, the newlyweds and their wedding guests let loose on the dance floor. Steph and Mark finally got to enjoy their first dance – one of Mark’s personal favourite moments on the day, before gathering all their friends and family for a celebration on the dance floor.

To take their wedding party to the next level, the pair had organised a mini rave. Multi coloured glow sticks were handed out to all their guests, towards the end of the night, for an epic finish to an unforgettable wedding day.

“It was really special having all our friends and family share our magical day.
“The staff at West Tower were fantastic too; they ensured our whole day went without a hitch. We couldn’t be happier with how smoothly the day ran. We just wish we could do it all again!”
