Back in September 2009 both Mike and I made arrangements to meet with Leonie to discuss our wedding plans.  During this first meeting with Leonie she was extremely thorough, professional and she sold West Tower to us really, as we knew that we could trust Leonie and all the staff there to look after us and give us the day that we had dreamed of. (And they did just that!)

During the whole build up to the wedding I was starting to need questions answered about our wedding.  Once the Bridezilla in me arrived I then bombarded both Leonie and Sandra (Lingard) with question after question but Sandra & Leonie within minutes had answered all of my questions and put me at ease.  Every time I emailed or phoned Sandra and Leonie nothing ever seemed to be any trouble at all.  They both supported me in making decisions to make sure I had just the perfect day and they tailored to all my needs. Two wonderful members of staff.

In the months leading up to the wedding I attended the ‘Bridal Boot Camp’, delivered by Mark Beesley. This weekly time with the staff just further cemented our thoughts that our wedding day was ‘in good hands’ and we had nothing to worry about.  Leonie, Sandra, Gemma, Sandra & Danielle made this an enjoyable experience as did Mark with his encouragement throughout.

On the 7^th September  2011 Mike and I were married at West Tower and the day we had spent two long years planning and dreaming of was here and all the hard work paid had off and this was for us a ‘dream wedding’.

However, we genuinely feel the professionalism, care and support we received form all staff at The West Tower helped to make our wedding day as special as it was for us.  Brian, Sandra, Leonie, Sandra, Lindsey & Gemma are such caring and genuine people that we looked at them as guests at the wedding rather than staff. We cannot thank them enough.

On the day Lindsey took all the pressure away from us by making sure that both Mike and I and our guests had everything we needed, nothing was any trouble to her.  She took the time and effort to ensure that our day went as smoothly as it did, and we must say she made a fabulous Toast Master as she delivered an outstanding service throughout the whole day.  A wonderful staff member.

Another special thank you goes to Gemma who did an outstanding job and delivered an outstanding service to us and our guests.  Nothing was ever too much trouble and if there was anything that we needed she got this for us straight away.  Again another wonderful member of staff.

Another special thank you to Brian & Sandra also as they were on hand if there was anything that we needed.  They were both around the whole day and were making sure that our guests had everything that they required.  They truly are two wonderful people who have only the best interests for their guests.

And of course a big thank you to Leonie and Sandra who helped plan our day and made the whole experience a less stressful job to do.

Everything went perfect for us and it was all down to the staff there at West Tower.  The food we ate on the day was cooked to perfection and our compliments go to the chef as there was not one course that I or any of my guests could criticise – Perfect!

All our friends and family who were at the wedding have said nothing but nice things about all the staff and the venue itself. Our family and friends were all very impressed by the level and quality of service that was provided on the day and they too thank the staff.

From the moment we contacted the West Tower and had our first meeting with Leonie we knew that our wedding day would go as well as we had hoped it would and we felt secure that the staff at The West Tower would do all they could to help us. Again, we cannot thank the staff enough for all of their hard work not just on the day but in the time leading up to it. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them.

A wedding venue is only as good as the staff who work there and with that in mind and judging by our experience there, we feel certain that there is no better venue than West Tower. It is a truly stunning venue which is enhanced and complimented by the kindness and professionalism shown by its staff.

"Now that we are back from our honeymoon just a quick note to thank you again for making our wedding so memorable. The venue was truly stunning and every single member of staff couldn’t do any more for the both of us and our 168 guests. What we liked about West Tower was that nothing was too much trouble, either during our pre-meetings or on the day itself. Evidence of this is our request for a more informal BBQ instead of a wedding breakfast, and West Tower was the only venue who had no objections to organising this come rain or shine. The food was truly sensational including the canapés, BBQ and the Hog Roast in the evening, with the following mornings breakfast the perfect cure for a number of sore heads! Before the day one of our guests asked us why we were travelling so far for the reception, after the day they sought us out to explain they now knew why. Everything we heard about West Tower, before and after our wedding, has always been spoken with the highest of compliments and in a way writing this note is difficult as words do not do you justice. If you are reading this review on the West Tower website and debating whether or not to book them for your wedding then our advice would be simple, just book it, as you will not be disappointed. West Tower has our mobiles if you want to speak to us personally as we are that happy to recommend them. Virtually every guest we have spoken to since the wedding has commented on how good this venue was.  So to close this note, as we could write superlatives all day long, thanks again for making our day so special. "We cannot begin thank you enough for our wonderful wedding day. West Tower and all your staff excelled and we were truly overwhelmed by what you did for us. To begin, our thanks to Sandra for perfection planning to the very last and to Lyndsey for making the venue look so beautiful - your attention to detail was second to none and you had clearly gone to so much trouble to set everything out so beautifully. I shed a tear when I saw the room and it was more than we could have ever wished for! The day was flawless due to your calm nature and excellent organisation. The grounds looked fantastic too- we are certain that there will be some gorgeous photographs in the garden and well, the sunset was just amazing! For the day, West Tower felt like a second home, such a warm welcome was offered to everyone by you all, nothing was too much trouble and you offered a highly personal service. Huge compliments go to Zoe and all involved in preparing the food - it was fabulous. She catered for every need and her special efforts for those with dietary needs were very much appreciated. So many guests talked about how delicious it was from the canapes right through to the evening buffet. The children loved their food and the fact that they were so relaxed, playing and laughing in the grounds, is a sign of how at ease everyone felt. Your waiting and bar staff could not do enough for us...one of them even looked after my handbag all night! Nothing prepared us for how kind and professional everyone would be. The accommodation was beautiful and all the guests commented on how well they had been looked after. You thought of everything and noted all details from our discussions - the service was impeccable. You created an atmosphere from start to finish which gave us the most amazing wedding day. We will treasure our memories knowing that we were blessed with a venue head and shoulders about the rest. You will be highly recommended to other couples and I know all our guests have already spread the word about their wonderful day! It was all I imagined and more, from the venue to the staff to the bridal suite, it was like a fairytale. Just wanted to share a few quotes from friends and family on the day; "The best wedding I have ever been to in my life, including my own" "The most beautiful venue I have ever seen, I want to get married here" "The food was AMAZING, I really wanted to lick my plate" Honestly ladies, I can not thank you enough for such a wonderful day. "Just wanted to say a huge Thank You for helping me make Kate and Scott's day last Saturday so special. It seemed to go smoothly mainly down to your excellent advice and careful planning. Lindsay, the management of the day was faultless. You did very well organising all those Rugby players. Please also pass on our thanks to the chef and all her staff. Lots of people commented afterwards on the standard of the food and the service. Your flexibility in responding to our additional requests was greatly appreciated especially for the children in the creche. I know that you are both claiming credit for the superb weather!!!! We were very lucky as it made the venue even more idyllic. We would certainly be willing to recommend West Tower to anyone who was interested in hiring it for their wedding. I think there may be some spare shot glasses that we couldn't find on Sunday. Some were taken away and washed and guests didn't seem to get them back and there were 13 spares. They may have been put back in the bar with yours. Please let me know if they turn up and I will come and collect them. Once again many, many thanks for your help and support. I know that Kate and Scott will write to you separately when they return from honeymoon. My very best wishes."

"I was a guest and your team did extremely well. Weather meant everything was running late however your team (wonderfully fronted by Lindsay) were unflustered and carried out one of the best weddings I have ever had the pleasure of attending.
