West Tower is steeped in history and will soon be a talking point amongst delegates taking in its rich background and beautiful location.
The tower located on the west part of the house allowed staff of shipping magnate Lord Holt to locate ships arriving to Formby Point from North America and India. The master of the house could then be notified that his ships were just hours away from docking in Liverpool.
