Being local to West Tower, Lauren and Anthony had known about the venue for some time. Like most couples, the pair had talked about their wedding day and Lauren had thought about it for years – always dreaming up West Tower as her exclusive wedding venue.
With its bright and airy interior, chic Ballroom with sparkling chandeliers and spacious gardens looking out to the surrounding countryside, West Tower ticked every one of the couple’s boxes.
“We’ve always loved West Tower – it was always going to be our favourite venue.”- Lauren
The style of the day
With the chic setting of West Tower, the pair were keen to keep their styling simple and elegant. Using shades of white and ivory, along with a touch of sparkle, the couple’s wedding florist, Tamzyn Angela, transformed the interior of the manor house wedding venue on behalf of the couple. Menu cards and table names were set out on the table while simple white chair covers with chic bows enhanced the dining space. And when it came to table décor, Lauren and Anthony opted for classic yet stunning white flowers in one central table centrepiece.
Keen to channel the classic bride look, Lauren opted for a chic up-do, long veil, and stunning fishtail gown. She teamed her look with simple jewellery, a touch of shimmer on her shoes, and a classic white rose bouquet. The boys dressed up for the occasion too – looking just the part in sharp, stylish dinner suits.
As the pair had decided to keep their colour palette simple and neutral, Lauren decided against colourful bridesmaid gowns. Instead, she dressed her bridesmaids in fashionable fitted beige dresses while her flower girl wore white.
Lauren and Anthony tied the knot at West Tower in late May. They exchanged vows in the stunning ballroom, before going on to celebrate with friends and family in the gardens and terrace area.
In keeping with their classic wedding theme, the couple also opted for traditional English-inspired wedding catering. Their three-course wedding breakfast included a sweet potato soup starter, delicious chicken roast, and the signature West Tower chocolate cake for dessert – a definite party pleaser!
Our chocolate cake wasn’t the only winning dessert on the menu. The pair’s all-white wedding cake also went down a treat and was styled to reflect their special day. The royal iced wedding cake featured tiny sugar flowers, pearls and diamantes and came complete with sparkly ribbon around the base of every tier.
When the couple weren’t indulging in good food, they were having fun – making the most of all the fantastic photo opportunities and partying with their guests. As always, every single one of their wedding guests was in the mood for celebrating with everybody up on the dance floor.
“Given the choice, we wouldn’t have changed a single thing about our wedding day or done anything differently.” – Lauren
