After spending a few weeks travelling around Europe, the couple arrived at the Trevi Fountain in Rome. As soon as she opened her eyes after making a wish, Aimee found Jonathan on bended knee!
Hearing of West Tower initially through social media, they decided to visit one of their monthly Open Evenings. They both fell in love with it immediately – loving the intimate setting of the historic house.
Since the couple both have big families, Christmas was the perfect time to bring them all together with their friends.

The Style of the day
Aimee chose a winter theme with lots of seasonal flowers, hessian and pearls. She made most of the decorations herself whilst Jonathan made invitations that really reflected their relationship. The couple wanted a cake that their guests could enjoy in the evening and decided on a cake of cheese as their wedding cake.
Knowing that she wanted something simple for her dress was the only ‘must have’ for Aimee. She finally found ‘the one’ which was the last dress she tried on in the last shop she visited! She chose an embellished belt from Ted Baker’s bridal collection and shoes from Rachel Simpson for sparkle. Completing her outfit were gifts of a necklace from Jonathan and earrings from her parents. Her four bridesmaids wore stunning red dresses by John Zack.
Similarly, the groomsmen’s suits matched Jonathan’s ‘The Kooples’ suit with their tie & pocket squares the same vibrant colour as the bridesmaids.
The ceremony at West Tower for Aimee & Jonathan was super intimate, reflecting their relationship and telling their own story. A pianist played ‘Everglow’ by Coldplay for Aimee’s entrance with her dad, whilst ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ by Journey played as she returned as ‘Mrs’ to Jonathan’s ‘Mr’. As well as the pianist playing during the ceremony, guests were treated to a saxophonist in the Cellar Bar. Definitely wanted to steer clear of Turkey, the couple chose Eggs Benedict, Braised beef and Panna cotta for their guests!
Keeping with the festive feel, the couple provided board games in the Leather Lounge for their guests to play. With a roaring fire, this was the perfect place for those who needed a cosy bolt hole during the evening.
‘Ho Hey’ by The Lumineers was Aimee & Jonathan’s first dance at night. Although they had one dance lesson they ended-up just doing what felt natural on the night and having fun!
Coming highly recommended by the West Tower team, the couple were thrilled with the DJ – with the dance floor full from start to finish.
“I really liked the idea of tailoring our wedding day and West Tower really helped us achieve our perfect day. Remember it’s a day to celebrate your love for each other.” – Aimee
